Tonight we also read the book, The Elf on the Shelf. Olivia named her Elf, Eric. Eric is supposed to go to the North Pole each and every night to report to Santa if she was good or not. Eric is also supposed to be in a different place every morning...let's hope he remembers to sit somewhere different upon his return from the North Pole...or the gig is up, LOL.

SOOOOOOOOOOO Cool. Trace do you remember the elfs that used to sit around the house and do all the reporting back to Santa. Mom had a whole gang of them and she had them everywhere. We always had the best christmas so I do think the little fellows did not always report everything. I still had a few that I sat around for Carolyn. We did not have a book then but it was for sure a tradition. How did they make Christmas so magical and full for 6 kids?
