We have always wondered about the magnificent building that erupted from the view of 495 in Washington DC, so when we saw that the Mormon Temple in DC was hosting a Festival of Lights we thought we would check it out. Each night they host a Christmas Show in their visitor's center and afterwards, the crowds can wander around the grounds viewing over 6000 lights. It was very beautiful. The show was the Capital Carrillon Bell Choir and they were amazing. Olivia especially loved it and gave them a standing ovation at the shows end. One woman gave a bell ringing solo of the 12 Days of Christmas - which was particularly fascinating! It was a great night!
