On Saturday, Jen, Amy, Tammy and I ran the 4-mile Twilight Run that started at 6:30pm. We all thought that a run at this time of night would offer cooler weather, we were SO wrong. It was by far the hardest race (and I've run more miles then this) I have ever had to run. It was all due to the heat and humidity.
It was so painful to run in this heat, all of us (except Tammy who is our veteran marathon runner), had to stop and walk a few times during the race. We never had to walk in a race before, but we all felt like we were going to pass out or vomit. It was awful.
Through it all, we DID make it running to the finish line and we are all proud of that fact. Our husband's and kids were all cheering us on at the finish line. After a ton of bottle water, we all went out for pizza and beer...where we promptly put back on all the pounds we ran off...don't you just love that! LOL

I'm very proud of all 4 of us to finish this hellish race without passing out, vomiting, or breaking anything :) GO YOU RUNNER GIRL!
