(78/365) Totally needed ...

I spontaneously decided to take the day off today. I didn't have one single call scheduled today so I couldn't pass up that rare opportunity to stay home and do whatever I felt like! It was heavenly. Dan was kind enough to get Olivia up and ready out the door this morning so I could wake up when I wanted to - don't know when was the last time I did that...so 8am my eyes fluttered open. Then I went to the gym and spent 30 minutes on the stair master while reading my Kindle (love multi-tasking!). After that I went to Strike with crazy Rochie! Then I spent some time in the steam room and got ready for the day. Then it was off to DSW to buy some really cute shoes ... a couple of nice work shoes, some cute sketchers perfect for long walking excursions during our upcoming trip to Greece, and then a couple of pairs of cute ballet type shoes - gold and silver! I haven't bought new shoes in a long time! Afterwards, I had a massage - nice!!

I resisted the urge to continue my shopping spree and went home. I curled up in what Dan and I call our 'nest" and watched a movie (a total chic flick) while organizing my piles of magazine articles into my totally cool iPhone app program - Evernote. Determined to rid my house of all paper ... and I think it's entirely possible with this application - http://www.evernote.com/


Then it was off to pick up Olivia....I surprised her by making cookies with glories amounts of every colored sprinkle imagined! Then we made spaghetti and waited for Daddy to come home.
