The last week before school started, Dan and I decided to take a little vacation and rent a lake house on Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke, Va. We have never been there, but heard great things about the area. We were all pleasantly surprised at how pretty the lake was ... we had a blast - just the 3, or if you count Rosie, the 4 of us! Rosie wasn't dry probably more than 24 hours ... she LOVED the lake. We all did - such a peaceful, relaxing, fun way to spend the last days of summer ... before Fall and the new school year started! We want to make it an annual tradition.
