Raising the art of Thank You

Sometimes you don't know for sure if you're instilling basic foundations into your child or not. Take the art of writing a Thank You note. I have tried my best to be sure that for every gift Olivia receives that she writes a Thank You note to that person. She has yet to write one unprompted ... until yesterday, that is. She wrote us a thank you note and gave it to us after her gymnastics meet. That made my heart happy. I guess we are doing something right.
