This summer, Olivia joined the swim team. We finally found a team that could accommodate our working parent's schedule. She had her first time trials last weekend. She did awesome; although she was down on herself for coming in last on two events. We tried to remind her that this was just to set her own time ... and even when you look at who she was swimming against - she's so petite, they all have an advantage just because of their size - mostly 10 year olds. So we are working on her attitude, but she seems to like it and her technique on the strokes are very good!
