Wednesday Date Night

Olivia and I decided to go on a Mommy and Daughter "Date" night. Just her and I, no men allowed, lol! She picked the place - Don Pablos. She loves that place only for the fact that she gets to play with one of those little dough balls. We had a great time talking about 'girl' stuff.

Afterwards, we went to Toys R Us to spend the $15 gift card she got for one of her birthday gifts. She bought herself a little baby stroller and car seat. We also did a little clothes shopping...hey what is a girly date night without the buying of clothes? Went to Carters and she picked out a few very cute outfits for Fall.

I loved 'connecting' with my 6-year old little girl. I think we will do these more often! What I'll remember most was while we were leaving the restaurant, she said to me, "Mommy, even if I could pick any Mommy in the whole world, I would still pick you!" sniff...sniff!
