That evening we went to Arnel's Observatory Lodge and stayed until the sun went down. It's an active volcano so as soon as we stepped out of the car we heard it rumbling, which was really cool. There were a ton of photographers taking pictures of the sunset (apparently that was the place to be at this time of night). On our left was the lake and the sun setting and in front of us was this active volcano with hot red rocks and lava coming out (which you could only see when it got dark - sorry no pictures of that). It was a beautiful spot and very surreal!
